Bleeds:
If your artwork runs to the edge of the paper, you’ll need to add a “bleed” area. Increase your page size by .125” on all 4 sides and do the same to any image that runs to the edge of the paper.

Safety Area:
Keep any critical text or graphics .125” inside of the edge of your design’s finished size. This is the “safety” area where we cut the paper.
Fonts:
The best practice to use with fonts is to outline them, if your program allows. When you outline a font it becomes an image and others no longer need the font files to display it properly nor can anyone edit your file. If you know that you are using a special font, the font will either need to be outlined, embedded or provided with the file. Keep in mind, fonts can have license restrictions and different creation dates, even some of the most basic fonts can be revised. So it is always the best practice to outline the font.
