Standard size Commercial Envelopes have different types of flaps. Standard, Square, Wallet, Side Seam or Policy envelopes are all choices. The square flap commercial envelopes are sometimes the most difficult to source and therefore carries a higher cost to print but it does have the cool factor of looking more like an announcement envelope. Side Seam envelopes refer to where the envelopes are glued. See diagram below for more details. Wallet style have a much longer square flap and the Policy envelope has the flap on the short side.

Whether you need a small or large quantity with a personalized addresses, we can do that too. Just submit your database file along with your press ready PDF artwork and we’ll take care of the rest. Script font or any other standard system font can be used to print your addressee information with. If you’re trying to save money, you can also submit a multiple page pdf file with your data already merged. But the file needs to be the correct envelope size. So if you need an A7 Announcement envelope for your non-profit or a #10 envelope for your business mail, make sure you use the correct size when designing. If you’d like to use a dark colored envelope and address them with white ink printing, we can do that too. White ink printed on black envelopes is a very unique look. There are other dark colored envelopes available from local suppliers that we can print with white ink. Call for more details on this option or visit our white ink printing page.
Here at SLB Printing, we offer quality business envelopes, digitally printed, in full color in as little as 1 work day. Printed on 24 lb. uncoated paper our standard #10 (9.5″ x 4.125″) size is recommended for brochures, letterheads and sales sheets. Digitally printed business envelopes require a 1/4″ white border around the outside edge. Please allow for this in your design. We also have other standard size options to suit your needs. Our short run, digital envelope, printing capability can be very useful for addressing small quantities of announcement envelopes or business mailings.

Printing deadlines can be a challenging fact of business, that’s why we offer low cost, same day printing on short runs of envelopes. Need discount envelope printing with superior color and quality? Look no further, we offer custom printed envelopes, business envelopes, catalog envelopes , booklet envelopes, peek-proofs, square and window style envelopes all printed using offset or digital printing! We also offer custom sizes, square flaps, full color with bleeds and more.
Standard Production: Short run, digitally produced envelopes in various sizes are completed in 24-48 hours. Longer press runs produced on our offset equipment are completed in 7-10 work days. Custom sizes and converted envelopes are completed in 20 to 120 work days.
Same Day Envelopes: When available on short run, digitally produced orders, with envelope stocks in inventory, press ready artwork received and approved by 10 a.m. will be ready for pick up by 5 p.m. the same day. All jobs ready to print after 10 a.m. will be ready for pick up the next work day by 4 p.m.
RUSH production: When available, press ready artwork received and approved in the store can be ready in 4 to 6 hours. (rush charges applicable)
