Eco-friendly Banner Printing: Why You Should Consider It

By: Shelby

Green Eco-Friendly Banner Printing

Global warming can be a pretty contentious subject.  But regardless of our individual opinions on the matter, it’s safe to say that there’s still merit to conserving and preserving our environment. At the very least, we can ensure that we and our children can live in a clean and safe space where we can still appreciate the beauty of nature. Who wouldn’t want that?

This is one reason why we, as a company, have decided to offer “green” banner printing options. We believe that everything we do matters. So, if there’s any way we can contribute to a greener Earth then we want to do it. In this case, we’re now using water-based latex inks and we hope you might consider them too.

How does latex ink help?

For starters, the water-based printing inks we use are environmentally-friendly. These inks comply with the Clean Air Act.  They are free of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and can be sourced in a sustainable manner. In addition to this, the HP Latex Inks we use are also safe for our health because they’re don’t require special ventilation. Their output is odorless, making them perfect for sensitive environments like clinics and restaurants.

You also benefit

Using eco-friendly and “green” materials means that SLB Printing is doing its part in keeping our environment clean, keeping pollution and consumption low, reducing our carbon footprint, and making sure our workers and clientele are not exposed to any harmful pollutants from our banners.

However, apart from the “big picture” of it all, these practices also directly benefit you.

The inks we use are an environmentally-sound, latex ink that are vibrant and fade-resistant, so your Eco-Friendly Banner Printing looks amazing and stays colorful for as long as you need them. (see manufacturer data sheet for fade resistance in and out of the sun).

Printing your banners with water-based inks may sound like a small thing.  But the truth is that the advantages go as far back as producing these materials to its use in creating a safer printing environment and even up to its display point, where the banners’ intrinsic properties provide you with a great-looking banner through temperature or weather changes.

In other words, going green with your banner printing is a simple change you can do.  It has a big, positive impact on the environment, on the people who make it and to you.
